Leadership
Influence measured by who is better because of you.
What the Word says
“And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”
Mark 10:44-45
“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
1 Timothy 4:12
Practical reflection & suggested application — not Scripture
Kingdom principle
Kingdom greatness is expressed through service, and leadership is first an example, not a position.
What this can look like in real life
You have authority in a room and are deciding how to use it today.
What to do today
- ♕Do one thing for your team that costs you and benefits them.
- ♕Take responsibility publicly for a failure that was partly yours.
- ♕Develop one person deliberately this month.
What to avoid
- —Leading by pressure.
- —Taking credit that belongs to the team.
- —Requiring a standard you do not keep.
Prayer
Lord, make me a servant first. Let my leadership look like Yours. Amen.
Kingdom check
Who is better because I lead them?
Would I want to be led the way I lead?
