Rejection

Being left out, passed over, or pushed away.

What the Word says

Scripture · KJV
When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

Psalm 27:10

Scripture · KJV
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10

Practical reflection & suggested application — not Scripture

Kingdom principle

Rejection speaks about a door, never about your worth. Identity in Scripture is settled by what God says and by what He made you for.

What this can look like in real life

The group moved on, the offer went elsewhere, and you keep replaying what you did wrong.

What to do today

  • Write what is actually true about you in Christ and read it out loud.
  • Reach out to one person who is still in your corner.
  • Take one step toward the thing you were made to do.

What to avoid

  • Chasing people who have already shown you their answer.
  • Rewriting your whole story around one closed door.
  • Hardening yourself so no one can get close again.

Prayer

Lord, when people close a door, remind me who I belong to. Heal what this touched and keep my heart open. Amen.

Kingdom check

Whose approval have I been treating as my verdict?

What has God already said about me that I keep forgetting?
